A Mass Spectrometer Is An Analytical Instrument Used To Identify And Quantify Molecules Based On Their Mass-To-Charge Ratio. It Works By Ionising A Sample, Accelerating The Ions Through An Electric Or Magnetic Field, And Measuring How They Separate Based On Their Mass And Charge. Lot 2- An Ftir Spectrometer With Potential Atr Capabilities Capable Of Ultra-Fast Response Times For Capturing Short-Lived Surface Species Dynamics. An Ftir (Fourier Transform Infrared) Spectrometer Is An Analytical Instrument That Measures How A Sample Absorbs Infrared Light Across A Wide Spectral Range. By Applying A Fourier Transform To The Recorded Interferogram, An Infrared Spectrum Is Produced That Reveals The Sample’S Molecular Vibrations, Enabling Identification And Characterisation Of Chemical Bonds, Functional Groups, And Material Composition.
