The Construction Site Is Located On The Southeast Side Of The Center Of Jyväskylä, On The Section Between Lutakonaukio And Ainolanranta (Kuokkala). The Area Has A Valid Site Plan. The Conditions For Walking And Cycling Will Be Improved On The Section By Building One-Way Bike Lanes And Changes To The Schauman Park Road Junction Area And The Ainolanranta Central Island Crossing. The Implementation Of The Ainolanranta Island Crossing Requires Retaining Wall And Terracing Arrangements At The Southern End Of The Existing Bridge. The Change Starts At The Expansion Joint Device Of The Existing Bridge, Including The Measures Presented Below. The Ground Support Wing Wall On The Side Of The Terracing Structure Will Be Dismantled To The Level Of Approx. Future Street Level -1.2 M. The Terracing Will Be Done As A Reinforced Concrete Structure And, In Connection With It, Small-Scale Planting Will Be Possible On The Terrace Levels. The Wing Wall On The East Side Of The Bridge Will Remain Unchanged And A Three-Part Corner Support Wall Will Be Built As An Extension. The 560 M Storm Water Drain That Runs Below The Retaining Wall Will Remain In Its Current Location And Height. Both New Structures Will Use The Same Type Of Railing As The Existing Bridge Railing.
