The Subject Of The Public Procurement Is The Delivery Of 1 Electric Vehicle (Light-Duty Electric Car - Category N 1) And The Delivery And Installation Of 1 Charging Station For Electric Cars With A Charging Capacity Of At Least 22 Kw For The Needs Of The Municipality Of Ivaylovgrad In The Provision Of Social Services. The Type And Technical Characteristics Of The Electric Car And The Charging Station For Electric Cars Are Specified In The Technical Specification Attached To The Public Procurement Documentation. The Main Goal Is To Improve The Quality, Efficiency And Sustainability Of Social Services Provided In The Territory Of The Municipality Of Ivaylovgrad. The Measure Responds To The Need To Modernize And Decarbonize The Vehicle Fleet Used In The Provision Of Social Services By The Municipality. The Measure Is Of Particular Importance In View Of The Increasing Mobile Needs In The Social Sphere, Especially In The Context Of Deinstitutionalisation And The Shift To Community And Home-Based Services. Replacing Old Diesel And Petrol Cars With Electric Vehicles Will Result In Significant Reductions In Carbon Emissions As Well As Fuel And Maintenance Savings. The Cars Meet The Requirements Of Ordinance No. H-21 Of 2023, Which Introduces Into Bulgarian Legislation The Requirements Of Directive (Eu) 2019/1161 Regarding The Promotion Of Clean Vehicles. With The Purchase Of An Electric Car And An Electric Car Charging Station, The Expected Results Include Improved Access To Services And A Reduction In The Carbon Footprint Of The Activity.
