Environmental Planning – Support In Carrying Out Strategic Environmental Assessments (Seas) Within The Framework Of The Site Selection Act (Standag). The Tender Includes The Awarding Of Services In The Context Of Strategic Environmental Assessments (Seas) As Part Of The Site Selection Process (Standav), Which Is Standardized In The Site Selection Act (Standag). The Client Is The Federal Office For The Safety Of Nuclear Waste Management (Base), Which, Among Other Things, Carries Out The Supervision, Licensing And Regulatory Functions In The Area Of Nuclear Waste Disposal And Final Storage In Germany. The Federal Society For Final Storage Mbh (Bge) Acts As The Project Sponsor For The Standav. - In Germany, Around 27,000 M³ Of Highly Radioactive Waste Needs To Be Permanently And Safely Disposed Of. The Standag Regulates That The Standav Is Used To Determine The Location With The Best Possible Safety For A Final Storage Facility In The Federal Republic Of Germany For This Waste. This Is Done Based On Legally Defined Criteria And Minimum Requirements And With The Participation Of The Public And Other Actors. Although The Standag Aims To Determine The Location By 2031, The Work Is Taking More Time Than Expected. - The Standav Is Divided Into Three Phases, With The Services Advertised Here Referring To Phase I Of The Standav. In The Current Step 2 Of Phase I, Geological Data Is Collected And Evaluated By The Bge In Order To Determine Location Regions For Surface Exploration From The Sub-Areas. The Bge Is Expected To Submit The Proposal For The Location Regions To Be Explored Above Ground To Base At The End Of 2027, Together With The Site-Specific Exploration Programs For Above-Ground Exploration. - In The Course Of Determining The Location Regions For Surface Exploration, A Strategic Environmental Assessment (So-Called Plan Sea) Must Be Carried Out In Accordance With The Environmental Impact Assessment Act (Uvpg). In The Plan-Sea, All Direct And Indirect Environmental Impacts In Connection With The Determination Of The Location Regions For Surface Exploration Are Determined, Described And Evaluated. In Addition To The Likely Significant Environmental Impacts Of Surface Exploration, This Also Includes That Of Underground Exploration And Repositories.
