Tenders Are Invited For Catching And Translocation Of Hawks In The Płaska Forest District In Žilina In 2026 As Part Of The Together For Nature Project - Protection Of Species And Habitats In Naturally Valuable Areas (Opl2)
3.1. The Subject Of The Order Is To Provide The Service Of Catching And Translocating Common Hawks (Accipiter Gentilis), Including Daily Inspection Of Live Traps In The Płaska Forest District In Žilina In Places Specified By The Ordering Party, As Well As Transporting The Caught Hawks Over A Distance Of Over 100 Km.3.2. Hawks Will Be Captured Using Live Traps, Which Should Be Checked At Least Once Daily.3.3. The Maximum Number Of Hawks That Will Be Caught Is 30 Pieces, In Accordance With The Decision Of Rdoś Wpn.6401.336.2025.Do Of November 18, 2025, Which Constitutes Annex No. 2 To Swz.3.4. The Assumed Number Of Inspections To Be Performed Is 250 Times (Days). This Quantity Depends On The Date Of Signing The Contract.3.5. The Contractor Will Set Live Traps For Hawks, Delivered By The Ordering Party On The Day Of Signing The Contract (10 Traps Placed At A Time) In Places Agreed With The Ordering Party.3.6. The Contractor Will Provide A Sufficient Number Of Bait Pigeons For The Traps And Will Provide Them With Food And Water Daily.3.7. The Contractor Will Each Time Notify The Employers Representative By Phone About The Detected Presence Of A Hawk In The Trap. The Contractors Representative Will Confirm The Catch Of The Hawk By Taking A Photo And Signing The Report According To The Template Attached To The Contract.3.8. If A Species Of Bird Of Prey Other Than A Hawk Is Caught In A Trap, The Contractor Should Immediately Release The Bird.3.9. Caught Individuals Should Be Placed In Isolated, Darkened Cages With Food And Water (In Which They Will Then Be Transported) Until They Are Moved To Another Place (Within No Longer Than One Day).3.10. Transporting Hawks Over A Distance Of Over 100 Km From The Catching Site, I.E. Around The Towns Of Hajnówka, Bielsk Podlaski, Siemiatycze, Brańsk, Łomża, Zambrów, Wy-Sokie Mazowieckie And Kolno, Will Be Confirmed By A Photo Of The Information Board Of A Given Town Taken By The Contractor, Or Another Photo Indicating The Distance From A Given Town.3.11. Individuals Of The Species In Question Will Be Released Into The Wild In A Way That Reduces Stress On The Captured Birds As Much As Possible.3.12. The Place Of Implementation Of The Task Will Be The Płaska Forest District In Žilina
