The Goods Are To Be In Good Operating Condition That Meets Or Exceeds The City’S Schedule A-1 - Preferred Technical Specifications Which Sets Out The Preferred Technical Specifications (The “Specifications”).The Contractor Will Supply The Vehicle Complete As Identified In Schedule B – Form Of Quotation. The Contractor Will Act As Project Manager To Liaise With The Subcontractor(S) To Provide The Vehicle As Requested.The Goods Are To Have A Standard Road Package That Meets All Legal Requirements For Operation On Public Roadways, Including The Bc Motor Vehicle Act, The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Act, Work Safe Bc Regulations, And To Be Built In Accordance With Sae Standards. The Goods Shall Be Delivered With A Current Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate.The City May Consider Quotations That Deviate To Some Extent From The Preferred Technical Specifications If It Proves To Be In The Best Interest Of The City To Do So.Contractor May Submit Multiple Quotations If Several Units Meeting The Preferred Specifications Are Available. A Separate Schedule B – Form Of Quotation Should Be Completed In Full For Each Good.Brochures Or Additional Specifications May Be Attached As Supplemental Information.Site Visita Site Visit May Be Hosted By The City Representative To View The Current Truck Body The Specification Is Built Around. Interested Contractors Are To Contact The City Representative Expressing Interest And A Site Visit May Be Scheduled At A Later Date. Contractors Should Notify The City Of Their Desire To View The Truck By December 16Th, 2025.While Attendance Is At The Discretion Of The Contractors, Contractors Who Do Not Attend Will Be Deemed To Have Attended The Site Visit And To Have Received All Of The Information Given At The Site Visit.
