Background Purge Air Networks Are Networks Of Pipes, Often Made Of Copper Or Pvc, That Combine Air And Water In Water Recovery Stations And Rapid Filters To Effectively Flush And Clean The Filters And Pipes. They Serve Primarily To Remove Dirt, Deposits And Air Bubbles From The System, Which Ensures Efficient Water Filtration, Prevents Blockages And Maintains Water Quality Through An Abrasive Flushing Process With Air And Water. Replacement Project In Rapid Filters This Project Focuses On The Primary Task Of Replacing The Existing 40 Copper Purge Air Networks With Pvc Networks In The Rapid Filters One (1) On One (1). The Current 40 Copper Purge Air Networks Have Reached The End Of Their Technical Lifespan After 30 Years Of Use. The Replacement Of Nine (9) Purge Air Networks Started In Q3-2025 Due To The Failure Of A Number Of Purge Air Networks. In Q1 Of 2026, The Client Wants To Start Replacing The Other 31 Purge Air Networks Of The Rapid Filters. To Achieve This, The Filter Sand And Supporting Layers Must Be Removed And Reinstalled After Installation Of The New Pvc Purge Air Networks. Objective The Aim Of This Project Is To Design, Test, Supply And Install New Sustainable Pvc Purge Air Networks. This Replacement Will Increase Operational Reliability And Reduce Maintenance Costs. The Copper Purge Air Nets In The Installation Must Be Replaced By Pvc Nets. To Do This, The Filter Sand And Supporting Layers Must First Be Removed. After The New Pvc Nets Have Been Placed, The Filter Sand And Supporting Layers Are Reapplied. The Replacement Of 31 Purge Air Networks Must Start In Q1-2026 And Be Completed No Later Than Q2-2028. Description Of The Assignment The Client Wants To Start In The 1St Quarter Of 2026 With The One-On-One Replacement Of The 31 Worn Copper Purge Air Networks In The Rapid Filters Of The Water Recovery Station With Sustainable Pvc Purge Air Networks. This Is Done By Temporarily Removing Filter Sand And Supporting Layers, After Which The New Pvc Nets Are Installed And The Layers Are Applied Again, To Guarantee Continuous And High-Quality Water Filtration For At Least 30 Years. Success Is Measured By On-Time Delivery, Technical Lifespan, And Improved Performance Of The Filter Systems. This Guarantees The Continuity And Quality Of Water Treatment Within The Operational And Technical Frameworks Of The Water Harvesting Station. The Client Strives To Continuously Provide Users With Reliable And Clean Drinking Water That Meets All Legal Standards And Expectations. This Not Only Means Supplying High Quality Water, But Also Minimizing Disruptions, Carrying Out Preventive Maintenance And Solving Any Problems Quickly And Expertly. By Replacing The Outdated Purge Air Networks In A Timely Manner, The Continuity And Quality Of Drinking Water Is Guaranteed.
