The Works Were Based On The Results From The Visual Survey And Inspection Carried Out In September 2022 For The Deck Drippers And In January 2023 For The Multi-Element Expansion Joint And Abutment Drainage From Usl. Considering These Results, It Is Now Anticipated That The Overall Condition Of The Expansion Joint, Abutment Drainage And The Deck Drippers Might Have Declined Or Became Worse, I.E., More Corrosion/ Debris Or Further Deterioration In The Water Seal May Be Observed In The Expansion Joint And The Quantity Of Deck Drippers Requiring Extension Might Had Changed/Increased As Well As Further Deterioration In Steel Drainage Boxes May Be Noticed In The Abutments. Hence, A Complete Full Inspection Of These Elements At St. James Viaducts A & B Is Required For This Scope Of Works. The Scope Of Works Also Includes Treatment Of Any Additional Deteriorated/ Observed Faulty Elements Of The Viaducts A & B, Following The Full Inspection Of These Elements. The Inspection Of The Joints Is To Be Carried Out By An Approved Inspector, Possessing A Sound Knowledge Of Mageba Type Lr-6 Modular Joints
