The Framework Agreement Concerns The Supply Of Rsv Vaccine 2026–2030 For Vaccination Under The National Seasonal Vaccination Program In Denmark. The Primary Purpose Of The Framework Agreement Is The Purchase Of Vaccines For Vaccination Of Pregnant Women. If The Danish Vaccination Program Is Changed Or Expanded, Purchases Can Be Made Under The Framework Contract For Additional Population Groups – Including, But Not Limited To, Elderly People, Provided That The Vaccine In Question Has Been Approved For Such Use By The Competent Approval Authorities. The Vaccine Must Have A Marketing Authorization Valid For Denmark At The Time Of Submission Of The Offer. Additional Requirements For The Vaccine Appear In The Tender Material. It Is Estimated That The Need For The Purchase Of Rsv Vaccines As A Starting Point Is Approx. 30,000-45,000 Doses Annually, I.E. A Total Estimated Amount Of Approx. 120,000-180,000 Doses During The Term Of The Framework Agreement. The Purpose Of The Framework Agreement Is To Ensure That Ssi Can Make The Necessary Purchases Of The Covered Vaccines For The Danish Market In Accordance With The Expected Need For Such Vaccines During The Duration Of The Framework Agreements Of Up To 48 Months. The Purchase Under The Agreement Depends On The Decisions Made For The Public Vaccination Program And On The Vaccination Adherence. If The Danish Vaccination Program Is Changed Or Expanded, Purchases Can Be Made Under The Framework Contract, Provided That The Vaccine In Question Has Been Approved For Such Use By The Competent Approval Authorities. A Significant Variation In Estimated Annual Consumption Can Thus Be Expected. Considering This And The Fact That The Total Need For Vaccines Can Vary Considerably, Depending On Which Decisions Are Made For The Public Programme, Ssi Can Buy A Total Of Up To 270,000 Doses According To The Framework Agreement During Its Term, See Appendix 2 For More Details.
