The Scope Of The Service Includes, Among Others: 1) Adoption, Within 7 Days From The Date Of Signing The Contract, But No Later Than January 1, 2026, Of Homeless Dogs In The Possession Of The Ełk Commune From The Shelter Run By Marta Chmielewska, Running A Business Under The Name Sonieczkowo Schronisko I Fryzjer Dla Zwierząt Marta Chmielewska, Żarnowo Trzecie 9A, 16-300 Augustów Nip 846-138-18-43 Regon790331104,2) Ensuring 24-Hour Contact For The Duration Of The Contract At The Provided Telephone Number And E-Mail Address In Order To Receive Reports,3) Catching Dogs Within 12 Hours Of Receiving The Report (Telephone, E-Mail) Submitted By The Ordering Party Or The Report Submitted By The Officer On Duty Of The District Police Headquarters In Ełk,4) Catching The Dog Within 8 Hours From Receiving The Report In Special Cases (Bite, Suspicion Of Rabies, Threat To The Safety Of Residents Of The Ełk Commune) And Delivering It To A Veterinarian For Observation, 5) Ensuring The Transport Of Homeless And Unattended Dogs Injured In Accidents To The Hospital Indicated By The Ordering Party Within 4 Hours Of Reporting And Collecting And Transporting Them To The Shelter, 6) Ensuring The Dogs Staying In The Shelter Receive Proper Veterinary Care, Proper And Humane Treatment, Feeding, Permanent Access To Water, Rooms Protecting Against Cold, Heat And Precipitation, And Enabling Dogs To Be Taken For Walks By Volunteers Or The Contractors Employees,7) Vaccination Of Dogs In Accordance With Applicable Law,8) Euthanasia Of Blind Litters,9) Keeping Records Of Accepted And Released Dogs. The Contractor Must Keep Records Of Dogs Caught Within 1 Business Day Of Being Admitted To The Shelter And Issue A Registration Card For Each Of Them, Consistent With Its Program For Recording Animals And Dogs Given Up For Adoption Within 1 Business Day Of Being Released From The Shelter, 10) Legibly Marking Dogs Admitted To The Shelter, 11) Sterilizing Or Castrating Dogs Caught From The Ełk Commune And Staying In The Shelter (After 14 Days Of Quarantine). If Such Sterilization Or Castration Is Not Possible Due To The Age Or Health Condition Of The Dog, It Is Necessary To Prepare A Written Veterinarians Opinion And Attach It To The Record Card. 12) Maintaining A Profile On A Social Networking Site Where You Will Regularly Post Photos Of Dogs Staying In The Shelter.
