Communications Infrastructure – Planning, Equipment And Installation Of The Infrastructure Of Aalto Universitys Computer Room Project. Aalto University (Hereafter The Client) Has Started A Project To Transform A Building Designed By Alvar Aalto On The Otaniemi Campus Into A Modern And Energy-Efficient Data Center. The Project Must Be Completed And In Use No Later Than February 28, 2027. Aalto-Yliopistokinteistöt Oy Is Responsible For The Renovation Of The Building. This Purchase Concerns The Overall Technical Delivery Of The Data Center To Be Implemented Inside The Building, Excluding The Servers. The Procurement Is Carried Out As A Total Responsibility Contract (Total Responsibility Contract Or Kvr Contract). The Selected Supplier Is Responsible For The Overall Design Of The Data Centers Technical Systems And Furniture, The Delivery, Installation And Commissioning Of The Equipment In Accordance With The Technical And Functional Requirements Set By The Customer And The Given Schedules. Totally Responsible Delivery Can Include Construction Engineering Implementations, Such As Penetrations. The Supplier Is Required To Work In Close Cooperation With The Party Responsible For The Renovation And To Coordinate His Own Plans And Installation Work Seamlessly With The Construction Work Carried Out By The Party Responsible For The Renovation. The Delivery Language Of The Project Is Finnish. All Responsible Persons Must Be Able To Function Orally And In Writing In Finnish, And All Project Documents Must Be Written In Finnish.
