The Project Concerns The Realization Of An Operational Barracks For The Defense Department And More Specifically The Marine Corps. The Project Is Contracted Under A Dbfmo Agreement. This Dbfmo Agreement Essentially Covers The Design, Construction, Provision Of Facility Services, Provision Of Resources, Provision Of Facilities, Maintenance And Financing Of The Barracks. The Barracks Will Be Realized On The Site Of The Existing Defense Location Camp Nieuw-Milligen, Address Meervelderweg 19 In Uddel Municipality Of Apeldoorn. The Marine Barracks Program Consists Of 6 Clusters: Working, Logistics, Marsof, Living, Sports And Operational. The Total Program Consists Of Approximately 130,000 M² Of Building, Approximately 35,000 M² Of Functional Terrain, Approximately 115,000 M² Of Parking Facilities And A Section Of General Barracks With Cluster-Independent Spaces. These Numbers Are Only Indicative And Largely Depend On The Final Translation Of The Functional Requirements Into A Spatial Design. The Corps Currently Consists Of Approximately 3,000 Marines.
