The Wahnbachtalsperre Association (Wtv) Is A Water Association Within The Meaning Of The Law On Water And Soil Associations (Water Association Act). The Main Task Of The Wtv Is, In Particular, The Procurement And Provision Of Drinking Water For The Association Members And - Based On Separate Agreements - For Third Parties. The Wtv Also Takes On Tasks For Flood Protection And Promotes Cooperation Between Agriculture And Water Management. The Association Members Are The City Of Bonn, The Rhein-Sieg District And The District Town Of Siegburg. The Wtv Provides Drinking Water For Around 800,000 Residents.
