Candidates Who Qualify As Preferred Vendors Will Have The Opportunity To Work Directly With Government Clients To Develop And Produce Communications That Inform Ontarians (E.G., Tv, Radio, Video, Live Streaming-Event Facilitation, Animation, Audio, Photography, Copy/Script Writing, Etc.). Only Preferred Vendors Will Be Invited To Compete For Production Projects When They Become Available. Vendors May Apply Here To Join The Direct-To-Production Services Preferred Vendor Group (If You Are Already Part Of This Group, You Can Ignore This Notification; Nothing Further Is Required From You). Vendors Who Qualify For This Vendor-Of-Record (Vor) Arrangement Will Be Considered For Future Client Projects With Budgets Of $30,300 Or More. If You Are Suitable, Your Firm May Be Invited To Compete With 3-4 Other Vor Vendors For These Assignments. Note That Clients Conduct Their Own Procurements Under $30,300 But Are Strongly Encouraged To Invite Production Vor Vendors. The Direct-To-Production Services Vor Refresh Master Agreement Contract Will Be Roughly 2.5 Years, Starting In April 2026 (Or Thereabouts) And Expiring On Sept 15, 2028. Scope Of Work The Ontario Government Is Interested In Working Directly With A Variety Of Production Service Providers Who Are Specialized In One-Or-Many Of The Following: 1. Copy/Script Writing – For Tv, Radio And Video Productions 2. Tv And Radio Production – For Full-Service Broadcast Tv, Radio And Digital Productions (Can Include Copywriting, Casting, Pre/Post-Production, Talent Management) 3. Video Production – E.G., Social Media Videos, Longer-Form Explainer Videos, Corporate Videos, Sizzle Reels, Etc. (Can Include Script Writing, Casting, Pre/Post-Production, Talent Management) 4. Raw Video Footage Editing – Editing Existing Raw Video Footage Shot By Government Clients 5. Video Accessibility Remediation – Editing Existing Client Videos To Make Them Fully Accessible 6. Live Event Video And Live Streaming-Event Facilitation – Live Event Video Production And Interactive Video Streaming (E.G., Press Conferences, Town Halls, Etc.) 7. Animation – Animated Explainer Videos Or Animated Content For Live Action Videos 8. Motion Graphics – Motion Graphic Content To Be Included In Videos 9. Audio Production – For Podcasts, Audiobooks, Ivr Automated Phone Systems, Etc. 10. Photography Vendors Can Qualify To Become A Preferred Vendor By Sharing Their Best 3 Work Examples From Any Of These Production Categories. Those Who Attain A Score Of 75% Or Better Will Be Asked To Join The Vor.
