4.1. Admission To The Shelter And Providing Care For Stray Animals From The Area Of ​​The City Of Łuków In 2026, And Emergency Catching Of Stray Animals From The Area Of ​​The City Of Łuków In 2026.4.2. Within The Scope Of The Task, The Contractor Is Obliged To: 1) Professionally Catch Stray Animals From The Area Of ​​The City Of Łuków And Transport Them To The Shelter At The Request Of The Ordering Party, Which Should Take Place No Later Than 24 Hours From The Notification. 2) The Contractor Will Provide Professional Service, A Vehicle Adapted To Transport Animals, Appropriate Equipment For Catching Animals, Including A Cage And Other Equipment Required By Law. 3) Providing Homeless Animals With Care, Consisting In Providing: A) Rooms Or Boxes With A Hard Surface And A Bed With An Appropriate Area (In Accordance With Currently Applicable Regulations) For A Specific Number Of Animals, So That They Can Move Freely And Carry Out Their Appropriate Behavior, Protecting Them From Cold, Heat And Precipitation, With Access To Daylight, Appropriate Food And Constant Access To Drinking Water (No More Than 4 Animals Can Be Kept In One Room Pcs Of Animals); B) Possibility Of Running And Walking; C) Each Time A Veterinarian Diagnoses A Caught Animal After Its Arrival At The Shelter; D) Mandatory Vaccinations Against Rabies And Infectious Diseases Of Animals Staying In The Shelter And Mandatory Antiviral Prophylaxis In The Case Of Puppies; E) Treatment Of Admitted Sick Animals That Promise Recovery; F) Combating External And Internal Parasites; G) Mandatory Separation Of Sick Animals From Healthy Ones; H) Systematic Cleaning Of Boxes And Runs, Including Carrying Out Sanitary And Disinfecting Treatments For Animals, Boxes And Runs At Least Once A Month; I) Safety Of Animals, Through The Use Of Appropriate Protection Against Both Escape And Accidental Injuries. 4) Sterilization And Castration Of All Dogs Staying In The Shelter Caught From The City Of Łuków, With The Exception Of Animals For Which There Are Contraindications To These Procedures Due To Their Health Condition Or Age. 5) Adopting Homeless Animals, Especially Those That, As A Result Of Random Events, Are Unable To Exist On Their Own. 6) Adopting Animals Taken From Their Owners Pursuant To Art. 7 Of The Act Of 21 August 1997 On Animal Protection (Journal Of Laws Of 2023, Item 1580). The Animal Will Be Returned To The Rightful Owner Immediately After He/She Documents His/Her Ownership Rights To The Animal And After Paying The Costs Related To Catching, Keeping And Veterinary Care In The Amount Of The Expenses Incurred By The City Of Łuków. 7) Putting Dead Litters To Sleep. 8) Keeping Caught Animals In The Shelter For A Period Of 14 Days, Which Constitutes A Sanitary Quarantine And A Waiting Period For The Possible Previous Owner. After This Period, The Animals May Be Transferred To Other Guardians. 9) Taking Photos Of Caught Animals And Posting Them Immediately (No Later Than Within 48 Hours From The
