Please Review Service Requirements In The Attachment. Service Requirements Includes Helicopter Type And Pilot Experience Which Is Considered Essential For Quality Aerial Surveys. The Surveys Must Be Completed By 31 March 2026. As Specific Weather Conditions Are Required For Accurate Survey Results, Each Survey Must Commence Within 48 Hours Of The Department Providing Notice Between 13 January Through 31 March 2026, And Be Able To Continue Until Finished. Along With Proof Of Meeting These Service Standards, Please Provide A Price, Based On A Fixed Hourly Rate (Wet) With Remote Fueling, Ferry Time To The Designated Base And All Other Costs (I.E., Meals, Accommodations Etc.) Included.The Description Of The Project To Survey The Equine Management Zones Is Outlined In The Table. Generally, The Surveys Require A Helicopter With Fuel, Pilot, Fuel Truck And Driver To Provide A Low Altitude, Low Airspeed Viewing Platform To Safely Classify Feral Horses Into Age Categories Based On Visual Features. Proposals May Be Submitted For The Entire List Of Surveys Or All Surveys Based Out Of One Of The Three Airports, But Not Broken Down Any Further. Ideally Surveys Will Occur Across Consecutive Days, With A Break Between Airports. The Days Required To Complete This Project Is Estimated As 6-10, But The Exact Number Of Days Per Emz Is Highly Dependent On Weather Conditions And Available Daylight Hours.Notice: The Government Of Alberta Offices Will Be Closed From December 24, 2025 To January 1, 2026.
