I.1.1 Introduction To Vib The Flemish Institute For Biotechnology (Vib) Is A Leading Research Organization With A Critical Mass Of Approximately 2,200 Employees, Organized In 90 Research Groups That Are Clustered In Nine Thematic Life Sciences Research Centers Spread Across The Four Flemish University Campuses. The Unique Hybrid Structure Between Vib And The Four Flemish Universities Facilitates Collaboration On A Project Basis, Allowing Fundamental Research To Be Directly Translated Into Valorization And Social Impact. In Addition To The Research Centers, Vib Has Approximately 15 Specialized Service Centers (Core Facilities) That Provide Reusable And High-Tech Services To Research Groups Within Vib And To External Partners, Such As Industrial Players. The Central Support Services Within Vib Include: Communications, Ict, Finance & Procurement, Hr, Innovation & Business, Facilities, Science Policy, Training & Conferences. I.1.2 Context Of The Assignment I.1.2.1 Implementation Partner And License Management Vib Wants To Further Digitize Its Services To Researchers And Support Departments. Servicenow Was Selected As The Overarching Platform For This Digital Transformation. After The Initial Implementation Of The Itsm Component (Under The Guidance Of A Previously Selected Partner), Vib Now Wishes To Set Up A Sustainable Partnership And Collaboration With An Implementation Partner Who Can Guide The Further Rollout Of The Complete Servicenow Roadmap. The Exact Roadmap Has Not Yet Been Fully Determined; The Implementation Partner Must Therefore Not Only Provide Technical Implementation Expertise, But Also: • Strategic And Functional Support And Advice; • Project Coordination Within A Complex, Hybrid Organizational Context; • Proactive Knowledge Sharing About New Possibilities In Servicenow (Including Ai Functionalities). The Ambition Is To Realize An Integral Digital Service Platform For Vibs Support Services (Communication, Ict, Finance & Procurement, Hr, Innovation & Business, Facilities, Science Policy, Training & Conferences) With The Ultimate Goal Of Realizing Efficient, Scalable And Agentic Ai Applications. In Addition To The Implementation And Support Of The Servicenow Environment, The Delivery Of Servicenow Licenses Is Also An Integral Part Of This Assignment. The Selected Partner Will Act As An Authorized Servicenow Reseller, Authorized To Supply Licenses And Modules To Vib In Accordance With Servicenows Negotiated Terms And Pricing Policies. This Includes Managing License Types, Annual Renewals, Usage Reporting And Support With License Optimization. The Combination Of License Delivery And Implementation Services Within One Framework Agreement Aims To Ensure Contractual, Technical And Financial Coherence And To Simplify The Management Of The Servicenow Environment For Vib.
