Tenders Are Invited For Catching And Delivering Homeless Animals From The Zgierz Commune To The Shelter And Keeping Them From January 1, 2026. Until December 31, 2026 Along With Stray Dogs And Cats Caught In 2016-2025
1. The Subject Of This Agreement Is Catching, Transporting And Providing 24-Hour Care, Consisting Of Providing Shelter, Food And Veterinary Care, For Homeless Animals From The Zgierz Commune, Performing Sterilization And Castration Procedures, Electronic Marking (Chipping) Of Dogs And Cats And Conducting Adoption Activities.2. Stray Animals From The Zgierz Commune Will Be Caught Only On An Emergency Basis And Delivered To A Shelter Or Animal Hotel In The Town Where The Contractor Will Take Care Of Stray Animals. 3. The Scope Of The Subject Includes: • Catching, Which Will Take Place Immediately After Telephone Notification By Employees Of The Department Of Environmental Protection And Agriculture Of The Zgierz Commune Office, • Marking Caught Animals With A Chip, • Ensuring Proper Care And Appropriate Treatment, Food, Veterinary Supervision, Prevention And Treatment, • Vaccination Of Animals Caught From The Area Of The Zgierz Commune, Which Should Be Carried Out In Accordance With Applicable Veterinary Regulations, • Sterilization And Castration Of Animals Strictly According To The Veterinarians Recommendations Within A Period Of Not Less Than 14 Days From Placing The Animal In A Shelter Or Hotel, • Euthanizing Blind Litters Of Animals, • Keeping Records Of Animals Caught, Released And Staying In A Shelter Or Hotel For Animals Caught From The Zgierz Commune; • Active Search For People Willing To Adopt Homeless Animals; • Waiving The Contractor From Charging New Guardians A Fee For Accepting An Animal For Adoption; • Ensuring 24-Hour Telephone Contact By The Contractor. • Ensuring Readiness To Perform The Service Or Providing The Service After Office Hours And On Days Off And Holidays.
