Request for proposals for Developing Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) Ambassadors Program and Training Consultancy Assignment Cowater Internationals PROSPER Project is seeking a qualified consultant, team of trainers, or training firm to design and deliver the Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) Ambassadors Program in the West Bank. The assignment aims to build the capacity of youth agronomists, particularly women, to become certified CSA Ambassadors, promoting climate-resilient agricultural practices among local farmers. The consultant will develop a CSA comprehensive training modules and training materials, an Ambassadors Toolkit, farmer and community member training materials, and deliver 10-day interactive training sessions to two batches of 15 participants each. Training will cover Water and Soil Management, Plant and Pest Management (IPM for Date Palm, Avocado, Thyme, and Grapes), and Advanced CSA Technologies (including hydroponics, precision agriculture, and smart irrigation). The assignment will adopt a participatory, hands-on approach with gender-sensitive and youth-inclusive methods. Key deliverables, CSA Capacity Building Package (including training modules and materials, toolkits and farmer and community training materials, pre/post-training assessment tools), training reports for each module, and a final consolidated report. The assignment is expected to run from January to March 2026, with training conducted in Ramallah and targeted governorates across the West Bank. Applicants must demonstrate advanced expertise in Climate-Smart Agriculture, integrated pest management, water and soil management, training and facilitation skills, and at least five years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to female trainers or firms employing women trainers. Proposals must include a detailed methodology, work plan, team qualifications, relevant experience, and a financial proposal in CAD.
