The Equipment Will Be Operated And Maintained By The Dodge Group But Will Be Available For Collaborators And Undergraduate Volunteers To Use, So A Turnkey Design Will Be An Important Selection Criterion. Having The Laser Optics Encapsulated In A Single, Rack-Mounted Instrument And Two Fibre-Coupled Thz Modules Will Lower The Barrier For Non-Specialists To Use The Thz-Tds Technique Effectively. The Proposed System Is Expected To Rely On Technology That Has Been Tested In The Communication Industry And Require Little To No Maintenance.Sfu’S Budget For Instrument Purchase Is $177,107 Cad Including Taxes At 8.65%, Delivery And Insurance To Sfu Burnaby, At Least 1-Year Warranty, And Training
