Tenders are invited for Consultancies - Translation and Adaptation of the idb4women Educational Kit to the Chadian and Sudanese Context. Closing Date: 15 Dec 2025 Type: Consultancy Libraries Without Borders (BSF) is an international non-profit organization that builds the capacity of people in vulnerable situations by facilitating their access to education, culture and information. Since 2007, LWB has worked in more than 50 countries to bring knowledge and information to those in need. We provide access and resources that connect people to books and digital resources, expanding the reach of libraries, training facilitators in post-emergency situations, and responding to the needs of underserved communities. We create innovative cultural and learning spaces that allow people affected by crises or precariousness to learn, play and build communities. With more than ten years of experience in the field, LWB has developed innovative tools that expand access to information, education and cultural resources, even in the most challenging situations. BSFs Ideas Box is a transformative mobile media center that can serve as a safe space for creativity, innovation, and healing. When properly equipped, the Ideas Box can provide a wide range of support services, from holistic care to survivors and communities, to mental health services and psychosocial support, to legal aid, educational activities, and vocational training. Both self-contained and ultra-portable, BSFs Ideas Cube works without an internet connection to provide access to information and learning, even in the most remote locations. About the size of a book, the Ideas Cube creates a Wi-Fi hotspot that users can connect to with their smartphone, tablet, or computer to access thousands of educational and social resources for their training.
