Specialized Care Services Are Services Tailored To Specific Needs Resulting From The Type Of Disease Or Disability, Provided By People With Specialized Professional Training.3. The Following Types Of Specialized Services Are Established: 1) Teaching And Developing Skills Necessary For Independent Living, In Particular: A) Developing The Ability To Meet Basic Life Needs And Social Functioning Skills, Motivating People To Be Active, Undergoing Treatment And Rehabilitation, Conducting Self-Service And Social Skills Training, And Providing Support, Also In The Form Of Assistance In Everyday Life Activities, B) Interventions And Assistance In Family Life, C) Assistance In Dealing With Official Matters, D) Support And Assistance In Obtaining Employment, E) Assistance In Managing Money.2) Care - As Supporting The Treatment Process, Including: A) Assistance In Access To Health Services, B) Arranging And Keeping An Eye On The Dates Of Medical Visits And Diagnostic Tests, C) Assistance In Purchasing Or Ordering Medications At A Pharmacy, D) Monitoring The Intake Of Medications And Monitoring Possible Side Effects Of Their Use, E) In Particularly Justified Cases, Changing Dressings, Assistance In The Use Of Auxiliaries And Medical Materials, Orthopedic Items, As Well As In Maintaining Hygiene, F) Assistance In Reaching Health Care Facilities, G) Assistance In Getting To Rehabilitation Facilities.3) Physical Rehabilitation And Improvement Of Disturbed Body Functions To The Extent Not Covered By The Provisions Of The Act Of August 27, 2004 On Health Care Services Financed From Public Funds (Journal Of Laws Of 2024, Item 146), Including: A) In Accordance With The Recommendations Of A Doctor Or A Specialist In The Field Of Physical Rehabilitation Or Physiotherapy, B) Cooperation With Specialists In The Field Of Psychological, Pedagogical And Educational-Therapeutic Support Aimed At Multilateral Activation Of The Person Using Specialized Services.4) Housing Assistance, Including: A) In Obtaining An Apartment, Negotiating And Paying Fees, B) In Organizing Minor Renovations, Adaptations, Repairs, Eliminating Architectural Barriers, C) Shaping Proper Relations Of The Person Receiving Help With Neighbors And The Owner Of The House.4. The Above-Mentioned Specialist Services May Be Performed Only By Persons Qualified To Practice The Profession Of: Social Worker, Psychologist, Educator, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Nurse, Assistant To A Disabled Person, Community Carer, Specialist In Medical Rehabilitation, Physiotherapist Or Other Professi
