Tenders are invited for Cws Youth Empowerment Services (Yes 2. Dhs Seeks To Contract With A Provider To Provide Services To Youth And Young Adults Currently And Formerly In Foster Or Otherwise Involved With The Child Welfare System To Transition Successfully To Adulthood. The Services Provided Under This Contract Will Be Known As "Youth Empowerment And Support" Or "Yes" Services. The Yes Services Provide Opportunities For Youth And Young Adults Who Have Experience In The Child Welfare System To Give Input For Improvements To The Child Welfare System, Develop Leadership Skills, And Increase Outreach And Support. These Opportunities Will Support The Overall Goals Of The Yes Services, Which Include Systemic Improvement Of Child Welfare Services (Cws) In Supporting And Promoting The Successful Transition Of Youth Currently Or Formerly In Foster Care Or Otherwise Involved In The Child Welfare System To Independent Self-Sufficiency Or The Successful Reunification With Birth Family Or Other Permanency Arrangements Such As Placement With Relatives, And The Maintenance Of Supportive Birth Family Connections
