Tenders are invited for Purchase of Water Filtration System. Deadline for Submission: 10/12/2025 Technical Specifications A. General Description Service for the inspection, cleaning, repair, and reactivation of an existing water filtration unit used for potable or process water. The objective is to restore the system to full operational efficiency and compliance with water quality standards. Work to be carried out by a qualified technician or specialized company experienced in filtration and water-treatment systems. B. Scope of Work Assessment and Diagnosis On-site inspection of the existing filtration unit (mechanical, cartridge, sand, carbon, or multi stage). Check condition of tanks, valves, control heads, pressure gauges, and pipelines. Water-quality testing (inlet/outlet) to determine efficiency. Restoration Activities Cleaning of filter housing, media tanks, and pipelines. Replacement of worn-out filter media (e.g., quartz sand, activated carbon, resin, cartridges, membranes) according to type. Repair or replacement of defective components such as valves, seals, fittings, pressure gauges, or flow meters. Flushing and disinfection of the entire system before restarting. Recalibration of pressure settings and flow control. Testing and Commissioning Perform operational tests to ensure nominal flow and pressure. Verify treated-water quality (turbidity, odor, taste, chlorine level if applicable). Provide maintenance log and recommendations for periodic servicing. C. Technical Requirements Power Supply: As per existing system (single-phase or three-phase, 50 Hz) Materials: All replacement parts must be food-grade and corrosion-resistant (PVC, SS 304/316). Standards: Conformity with WHO water-quality guidelines or equivalent national standards. Warranty: Minimum 6 months on replaced components and workmanship. D. Deliverables Detailed inspection report (before and after restoration) List of parts replaced and media renewed Water-quality test results (inlet and outlet) Maintenance manual and preventive schedule On-site operator training for basic maintenance E. General Requirements Work to be performed at FTL-designated site, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Supplier to provide all tools, spare parts, consumables, and safety equipment required for the job. Contractor must be licensed or recognized for water-treatment service provision. 4- Requirements & conditions The supplier shall provide FTL with a signed and stamped (when available) quotation that would include, whenever applicable: o a picture of each item. o Brand (if applicable) o Datasheet of the requested items (if applicable) o The warranty terms in the quotation (if applicable) o The certificate of origin (if applicable) o Delivery terms. The supplier shall send a sample of the requested items prior to final confirmation, when applicable. The supplier shall deliver and install all or some of the items at Ain Ata. The provider shall also ensure the availability of workers/helpers to assist with loading and unloading as needed. 5- Company Qualification The company must have the following valid legal documents: Commercial Circular Fiscal Certificate of Incorporation at the Ministry of Finance VAT Certificate of Registration if applicable ID of companys authorized representative(s) 6- Evaluation The quotations evaluation process will consider following with assigned weights: Financial ......................................... 50% Technical ........................................ 50% 7- Payment Terms Payments will be made through bank cheques Payment will be made 20 business days from the last delivery and submission of final invoice.
