Vgn Resources Group Inc. (Vgn) Will Be The Program Administrator For Projects Under The Ministry Of Agriculture And Foods (Ministry) Extension Programming For Environment And Climate Change. This Noi And Project Is Administered By Vgn On Behalf Of The Ministry.The High-Level Details Of The Contemplated Contract Are Generally Described Below.This Contract Will Be Awarded To Suppliers Who Own Or Lease Agricultural Fields In The North Okanagan, Which Will Be Used For On-Farm Research Activities Evaluating The Effects Of Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizers (Eefs) And Sensor-Based Tools On Nitrogen (N) Use Efficiency.The Suppliers Shall Allocate A Portion Of The Said Field For The Research Project In The 2026 And 2027 Growing Seasons. A Different Portion Within The Same Field Or Another Field In Proximity Shall Be Provided In The Second Year. The Supplier Shall Allow The Growing Of Silage Corn On The Fieldthe Field Shall Be Accessible By The Research Team (The Ministry And Its Partner) For Soil And Plant Sampling. The Supplier Shall Meet With The Ministry To Plan And Design The Field Activities For The Research Projectthe Suppliers Shall Enable And Support (In Terms Of Labour And Equipment) The Ministry To Apply Fertilizer Treatments On The Designated Research Plots Of The Field. The Suppliers Shall Maintain Normal Farm Operations On The Research Plots As They Would For The Rest Of The Field, Including But Not Limited To Seeding, Herbicide Application, And Crop Harvest Each Year. The Supplier Shall Provide Records Of Agronomic Practices/Field Operations Such As Seeding, Tillage, Pesticide Application, And Irrigation As Part Of Research Data Collectionthe Supplier Shall Collaborate With The Ministry To Host At Least One Field Day For The Project As Knowledge Transfer Deliverables
