Stadtwerke Kiel Ag (Swk) Plans To Expand Its District Heating Supply By Building A Heat Pump System That Uses Environmental Heat From The Baltic Sea Water Of The Kiel Fjord. To Supply The System With Electricity, An Sf6-Free Gas-Insulated 110 Kv Indoor Switchgear Is Planned. The Sf6-Free Technology Meets Environmental Protection Requirements Because It Does Not Use Climate-Damaging Sulfur Hexafluoride And Thus Contributes To Sustainable Energy Supply. The Switchgear Will Be Built On The Site Of The Former Kiel Community Power Plant (Gkk) In The Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf District Of Kiel.
