Expression of Interest are invited for Agri-Insurance Assessment for West Bank IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG), is the largest multilateral provider of financing for private enterprise in emerging markets. IFC promotes sustainable private sector growth by investing in private sector institutions, mobilizing private capital in local and international financial markets, and providing technical advisory and risk mitigation services to businesses. IFC invests in private sector projects that are financially and economically viable and have a substantial development impact. In West Bank, a diagnostic and scoping project (Project) is being implemented to explore the feasibility of agricultural index insurance and to propose insurance solutions that would strengthen their resilience to climate and other shocks, while improving their access to finance.
