Expression of Interest for Survey and Qualitative Research for Social Insurance Design in Uzbekistan Description: This assignment will generate evidence to inform the design and roll-out of Uzbekistans new maternity, unemployment, and sickness benefits under the Social Insurance Law. It includes a quantitative phone survey of recent income taxpayers to assess needs, preferences, and willingness to contribute, and a qualitative study with informal and semi-formal workers and employers to understand barriers, incentives, and perceptions of social insurance. Together, these components will support actuarial modeling, policy design, and outreach strategies for expanding inclusive social protection coverage.
