Expression of Interest for Assessment of Value Chain for Batteries in India The primary objective of this assignment is to provide technical support to the Ministry of Mines/Government of India in developing a comprehensive framework for strengthening Indias resilience within the Battery manufacturing value chain, with a particular focus on domestic refining, processing, and component manufacturing. The consulting firm will focus on the following: a) Identifying key critical minerals for battery manufacturing in India and taking stock of their availability (domestic and import) and current utilization. b) Preparing mineral-specific reports for the value chain for battery manufacturing and assessing the demand for each segment and end use. c) Assessing Indias current processing capabilities for these minerals and benchmarking them against global standards. d) Providing actionable recommendations and targeted incentives to enhance the domestic value chain. d) Providing actionable recommendations and targeted incentives to enhance the domestic value chain.
