Target And Goal Of The Procurement The Target Of The Procurement Is Mobile Robotics Technology Solutions Suitable For Urban Environments, Which Perform Tasks In The Air, On Land Or In Water. With This Open Request For Tenders, 6–9 Pilots Are Sought For Implementation. The Goal Is To Get Information About New And Innovative Solutions That Are Suitable For Challenging Urban Environments And Support The Citys Services, Maintenance And Decision-Making. The Specific Goal Is To Help Small And Medium-Sized Companies To Solve Challenges For Which There Is An Acute Need, And To Grow Their Business. Blue City – Digital And Safe Water City Helsinki Can Be The First City In The World To Continuously Monitor, Measure And Secure Its Water Areas Using Mobile Robotics. The Goal Is To Develop Autonomous Water Robots And Data Solutions That Monitor Water Quality, Map The Bottom And Support Water And Sea Safety.1. Safe Beaches And Harbors The Goal Is To Develop An Automatic Control And Monitoring System That Improves The Safety Of Swimming Beaches, Harbors And Sea Areas. The System Detects Risks And Deviations In Time, Monitors Swimmers Movements And Identifies Emergency Situations In Real Time. Robotics Can Also Be Used In Rescue And Retrieval Tasks, Identifying Foreign Objects And Monitoring The Condition Of Fairways. 2. Intelligent Water Quality Monitoring And Stormwater Management Water Quality Monitoring Is Currently Slow And Spotty. The Goal Is To Create A Real-Time, Robotics- And Data-Analytics-Based Picture Of The Water Situation, Which Enables A Quick Reaction To Deviations. The Solution Can Monitor Turbidity, Oxygen Content, Temperature, Electrical Conductivity And Nutrient Concentrations And Automatically Take Water Samples For Further Analysis. 3. Own Solution Companies Can Also Propose Their Own, New Robotics Solution Related To The Aquatic Environment, Which Brings Added Value To The City Of Helsinki And Its Residents. The Solution Must Utilize Land, Water Or Aerial Robotics And Produce Data That Can Be Used In Different Service Areas Of The City, For Example In The Development Of Infrastructure, Security Or Environmental Management.Urban Sky – Smart And Controlled Urban Airspace Urban Airspace Is A New Infrastructure Where Drones And Sensors Work As Part Of Everyday Life In The City. The Goal Is To Build A Safe And Coordinated Airspace Where Mobile Robotics Supports Monitoring, Maintenance And Decision-Making. 1. Intelligent Construction Site Monitoring Monitoring And Control Of Construction Sites Take A Lot Of Resources And Are Often Manual. The Goal Is To Improve The Safety, Transparency And Productivity Of Construction Sites By Monitoring Progress And Deviations In Real Time.2. Proactive Maintenance - Detection Of Leaks And Thermal Deviations The City Loses Significant Amounts Of Energy And Water Each Year Due To Unnoticed Leaks And Heat Losses. The Goal Is To Develop A System Based On Aerial Robotics And Thermal Imaging That Identifies Leaks And Deviations At An Early Stage And Supports Proactive Maintenance. 3. Own Solution Companies Can Propose A Robotics Solution Utilizing Their Own Airspace That Supports The Safety, Monitoring Or Energy Use Of The Urban Environment. The Solution Must Make Use Of Land, Water Or Air Robotics And Produce Data That Supports City Services And Decision-Making. Smart Ground – A Functioning And Sustainable City All Year Round A Functioning And Sustainable City Uses Mobile Robotics, Data And The Circular Economy So That City Infrastructure, Maintenance And Logistics Work Seamlessly Every Day Of The Year. It Is The Citys Nervous System, Which Maintains Vitality And The Flow Of Services Without Interruptions. 1. Infrastructure Condition Monitoring And Modeling The City Has Thousands Of Kilometers Of Streets, Cycle Paths And Tunnels, Whose Condition Inspection Is Laborious And Fragmented. The Goal Is To Develop A Solution That Provides A Continuous, Up-To-Date And Automatically Updated View Of The State Of The Citys Infrastructure. 2. Automation And Logistics Of Winter Maintenance In 2028, Dumping Snow Into The Sea Will Be Prohibited, Which Requires New Ways To Manage Snow Collection And Handling. The Goal Is To Develop A Predictive And Data-Driven Robotics Solution That Supports Snow Collection, Transport, Storage And Melting In An Environmentally Friendly And Cost-Effective Manner.3. Own Solutioncompanies Can Propose Their Own Robotics Solution Suitable For The Land Environment, Which Enhances The Operation Of The Citys Infrastructure, Maintenance Or Logistics. The Solution Can Utilize Land, Water Or Air Robotics And Produce Data That Benefits The City, For Example About The Environment, Traffic Or Energy Use.
