Nottingham City Council ('The Authority') Is Seeking Tenders From Sufficiently Experienced And Qualified Suppliers For The Provision Of Mortuary Services To Support The Coroners Service Within Nottinghamshire. The Appointed Service Provider Must Deliver A Professional, Dignified, And Lawful Service In Compliance With Statutory Obligations Under The Coroners And Justice Act 2009, Human Tissue Act 2004, And Related Legislationservices Shall Be Available 24 Hours A Day, 365 Days A Year, To Facilitate The Discharge Of Hm Coroner’S Statutory Duties, Including Receipt, Storage, Post-Mortem Examinations, Viewing, And Release Of Bodies.The Contract Term Will Be Three Years With An Option To Extend For Two Further Years. Facilities Shall Be Located Within The Coroner’S Jurisdiction Or A Geographically Close Area, As Permitted By Legislation.
