Conduct a 5-Day Capacity Building Workshop on Organizational Systems and Governance in Mogadishu SCOPE OF WORK. The selected consultant/facilitator will: · Design and deliver a five-day interactive workshop integrating theory, practical exercises, and group discussions. · Facilitate sessions for approximately 50 participants, including partner organizations from both BRCiS and Danwadaag consortia. · Develop and share comprehensive training materials (PowerPoint slides, handouts, templates, and tools). · Lead interactive discussions, case studies, and group work that reflect real institutional challenges and solutions. · Deliver the sessions in both Somali and English, as required. · Produce a final workshop report summarizing topics covered, outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for continued support. 4. KEY TRAINING MODULES The workshop will cover the following thematic areas: · Human Resource Management and Safeguarding: HR policy frameworks, recruitment, retention, and integration of safeguarding and PSEA standards. · Procurement and Asset Management Systems: donor compliance, documentation, vendor selection, and transparency measures. · Board Governance and Decision-Making: board roles, ethics, strategic oversight, and conflict of interest management. · Organizational Risk Management and Internal Controls: risk identification, mitigation, internal audits, and accountability systems. · PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), Safeguarding, and Reporting Mechanisms and Institutional Integration and Action Planning: developing partner action plans and follow-up mechanisms for strengthening systems and governance. 5. DELIVERABLES. · Detailed training agenda and facilitation plan. · Training materials (presentations, handouts, case studies, and group exercises). · Pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning outcomes. · Daily participant feedback summaries. · Final workshop report summarizing outcomes, participant reflections, and recommendations. 6. DURATION AND LOCATION. · Duration: Five (5) days of in-person training and one (1) day for report preparation. · Venue: Mogadishu, Somalia. · Tentative Date: Late November 2025 (final dates to be confirmed). 7. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONSULTANT/FACILITATOR. Educational Background: · Minimum of a bachelors degree in organizational development, Governance, Humanitarian Management, or a related field. · A masters degree is an added advantage. Professional Experience: · Demonstrated experience in designing and facilitating governance or systems-strengthening workshops for NGOs or consortia. · Sound understanding of localization, accountability, and partnership frameworks. · Experience working with Somali NGOs and consortia preferred. · Excellent facilitation, communication, and reporting skills. · Fluency in Somali and English. 8. BUDGET · The consultant shall submit a financial proposal alongside the technical proposal for 5 days workshop facilitation and 2 days for report compilation. · The consultant will be responsible for covering personal travel, lodging, and related expenses. 9.
