Clothing, Footwear, Luggage Articles And Accessories – Supply Of Clothing And Radiological Protection Ppe For Ciemat Personnel. The Purpose Of This Contract Is To Satisfy The Need To Supply Radiological Protection Clothing, Personal Protective Equipment And Auxiliary Material That Allows Adequate Protection For The Personnel Of The Center For Energy, Environmental And Technological Research (Ciemat) Involved In Work With Risk Of Radiation And/Or Contamination, As Well As Being Able To Immediately Deal With Any Emergency Situation That May Arise. To Satisfy The Needs, The Scope Of The Contract Will Include Supply, Transportation And Delivery At The Ciemat Of Radiological Protection Clothing, Personal Protective Equipment And Auxiliary Material For Workers Who Carry Out Their Work Activity At The Center And Are Involved In Work With Risk Of Irradiation And/Or Contamination, Including Both Internal Workers And External Workers Given That Point 9 Of Article 56 Of The Regulation On Health Protection Against The Risks Derived From Exposure To Ionizing Radiation (R.D. 1029/2022, Boe Of 12/21/2022) Establishes That One Of The Obligations Of The Owner With Respect To External Workers Is: “In Each Activity: Ensure That The External Worker Has The Necessary Personal Protective Equipment At Their Disposal, Supplying, Where Appropriate, The Specific Material To Be Used In The Work Area Of The Controlled Area”
