Notice Is Hereby Given By The City Of Vancouver (“City”) Of Its Intent To Contract With Equinix Canada Ltd. For The Provision Of Colocation Data Centre Space.The City Has A Requirement For A Colocation Data Centre Space To Host Existing It Infrastructure (Server, Storage, And Network) Currently Located In Its Disaster Recovery Datacentre In Kamloops, Bc.The Data Center Building Complies With Current Seismic Code, And Maintains Tier 3 Standard. The Space Dedicated For The Citys Use Is Private And Secure, And Includes ≫11-Foot High And 6-Sided Steel And Steel Doors. Minimum Sizing Includes 15 Cabinet Allocations, And Up To 75Kw Inclusive Of Cooling.The City Will Have Direct Connectivity To The Real-Time Police Records Information Management System In Bc, And Will Have The Ability To Directly Access Azure Expressroute And Aws Directconnect Onramps Without Using Any Third-Party Network Systems.Initial Contract Term Is 3 Years With The Citys Option To Extend Annually, In Perpetuity.The Contract Is Valued At Approximately $300,000.00 Cad Per Year For The Initial Contract Term.The Rfx Will Be Administered Through The Website (Jaggaer) That Is The City’S Electronic Procurementportal (The “Supplier Portal”).Further Information On This Procurement Opportunity Is Available At This Link
