Tenders are invited for Contract the Organization of Training Workshops for the Ministry of Agriculture - Directorate of Studies and Coordination. Offer Guarantee Value 400,000,000.00 / Four hundred million lira only The Ministry of Agriculture Directorate General of Agriculture, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Law and through a sealed bid process, is conducting a public tender for the organization of training workshops for the Ministry of Agriculture Directorate of Studies and Coordination. Participation in this tender is open to natural and legal persons (companies or institutions) with documented experience of no less than five years in organizing conferences and training sessions. Appendix No. (1) Technical Conditions for Participation in the Public Tender for Training Workshops for the Ministry of Agriculture Directorate of Studies and Coordination. The purpose of this public tender is to conduct training workshops for farmers and stakeholders in the plant, animal, and forestry sectors throughout Lebanon. First: Background and Objectives. This public tender aims to implement a series of From the training and guidance sessions for farmers and those concerned with the plant, animal and forestry sector in various Lebanese regions, which enhances their technical and practical capabilities, in the fields of plant and animal production and rural development, in addition to promoting agricultural and environmental awareness. Developing farmers skills in marketing, organization, and local cooperative initiatives to improve market access. Second: Scope of Work. The tasks required of the contracting party include the following: Preparing a detailed training plan in coordination with the Education and Extension Department and the four directorates in the Ministry of Agriculture. Implementing practical and theoretical training in the following areas: Plant production (field crops, vegetables, fruit trees, organic farming, honey production, etc.), Animal production (livestock, poultry, fish farming, beekeeping, etc.), Rural development, fire management and forest protection, rangeland management, and agricultural processing. Food safety, ecological agriculture, agritourism, and additional topics will be determined according to the needs of the regions. Qualified trainers will be provided according to their specialization. Instructional materials and publications will be prepared for all training sessions, both in print and electronic formats, and submitted to the Education and Extension Department. Periodic reports on implementation, attendance, and progress will be prepared. Full coordination with the Education and Extension Department will be maintained. Third: Expected Outcomes: 160 training sessions will be conducted in all regions on various training topics. At least 5,000 farmers and those involved in the plant, animal, and forestry sectors will be trained. Targeted farmers will be registered in the agricultural registry in coordination with agricultural centers. A topic plan and implementation timeline will be prepared. A final report will be submitted, including evaluation, photos, attendance lists, and recommendations. Fourth:The implementation period for the activities shall be one hundred and fifty days from the date of signing the contract. Fifth: Participation Requirements: The contractor undertakes to provide a team of trainers and specialists in all required fields according to the conditions mentioned below, including experience working within rural environments and agricultural communities. Qualifications and Experience Required for Trainers: A university degree in agricultural engineering or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in agricultural training or extension. Practical experience in the agricultural sector. Ability to communicate effectively in the field and fluent in Arabic. Priority will be given to trainers with experience in community work and implementation in rural areas. Seventh: Coordination and Supervision Mechanism: Daily and logistical coordination will be carried out with the Education and Extension Department and the relevant directorates according to the training topics. Training sessions will be conducted in regional centers or field or logistical locations agreed upon in advance. The four directorates within the Ministry will participate in determining the specialized topics and themes. Eighth: Reports and Follow-up: The contracting party shall submit: A monthly report including the sessions conducted, the number of attendees, and the results.
