Project: Tender21319 - The Design, Build And Delivery Of Fire Trucks . This Draft Request For Bids (“Draft Rfb”) Is Issued By His Majesty The King In Right Of Ontario As Represented By The Solicitor General (The “Ministry”), For The Purposes Of Gathering Information About The Marketplace In Order To Potentially Assist It In Determining Its Future Purchasing Requirements. Bidders Are Asked To Respond To The Ministry And Provide The Information As Requested. The Ministry Anticipates That It Will Be Conducting A Process In The Future To Purchase Fire Trucks For The Northern Fire Protection Program (Nfpp). Scope Of Work The Office Of The Fire Marshal (Ofm) Oversees The Unique, Government-Run Program Known As The Northern Fire Protection Program (Nfpp). As Part Of This Program, The Ministry Supplies Fire Trucks For Use By Volunteer Firefighters Who Are Members Of Nfpp Fire Departments. The Trucks Are Used To Transport Firefighters Safely, Equipment For Rescue, And Firefighting Operations, And Other Emergency Responses, And To Pump Water For Firefighting Purposes.
