With A Newly Established Competence Network For Artificial Intelligence In Art And Culture, The State Government Would Like To Enable Artists Of All Disciplines And Cultural Workers From North Rhine-Westphalia To Behave Confidently Towards Technical Developments In The Field Of Ai And To Use Them Consciously. Artists And Cultural Workers Are Seen As A Potentially Critical Consciousness That Accompanies Social Change Associated With Technological Progress. The Core Product Of The Competence Network Should Be A Further Training Offer, Which Bundles Existing Educational Offers And Makes Them Usable For The Target Group As Well As Includes Specially Developed Formats. The Further Training Offer Should Consist Of Two Components: A Discourse And Learning Offer That Follows A Low-Threshold, Broad-Based Education Approach (Working Title: Open Offer) And A Multi-Month Program For The Systematic Development Of Skills (Working Title: Ai Academy).
