This Database Comprises Farm Economics Data To Calculate Cost Of Production, Profitability Analysis, And Developing Benchmarks. This Data Is Very Helpful For Producers, Researchers, Industry Stakeholders, And Government’S Policy Making For Informed Decision Making Related To Productivity, Profitability, And Sustainability. This Database Plays A Key Role For Generating Benchmarks, Analyzing Cost, Yield, Profitability, And Returns For Various Crops And Livestock Enterprises. These Benchmarks Play A Significant Role For Identifying Trends, Assessing The Impact Of Policy Interventions And Developing And Revising The Policies. This Agriprofit$ Database Also Supports The Internal Analytics And Long-Term Program Evaluation For Alberta’S Agriculture And Irrigation Sector. While The Foundational Work Has Been Completed, Further Improvements Are Required To Address The Outstanding Issues Such As Performance Of The Database, Data Validation And Reporting Capabilities. The Purpose Of This Contract Is To Review The Current System, Suggest Technical Changes, Conduct Rigorous Testing (Report Generation) And Provide Propositions And Methods To Meet The Needs/Requirements Of The Evolving Agriprofit$ Database.Project Objectives:To Improve The Agriprofit$ Database Performance, Streamline Reporting, And Enhance The Program’S Ability To Generate Timely, Accurate Benchmarks For Alberta Producers And Policy Makers.Project Structure/Business Model:The Province Will Require The Following Services:•Technical Review And Testing Of The Agriprofit$ Data And Report Applications To Improve Performance Relating To Data Input, Data Validation, Individual Producer Report Generation And Benchmark Report Generation.•Integration Of The Dairy, Greenhouse Crops, And Beekeeping Databases Into The Main Agriprofit$ Ms-Access System.•Develop A Detailed Methodology For Data Integration, Agriprofit$ Modelling, And Benchmark Report Generation.•Provide Recommendations For Future Transition To A Web-Based Application.
