The City Of Maple Ridge Is Seeking To Pre-Qualify Prime Contractors For Construction And Installation Of New Glass-Fused-To-Steel Bolted Steel Tanks At Existing Drinking Water Reservoirs.Through This Request For Qualifications The City Wishes To Identify Contractors Experienced And Qualified With: • Constructing And Managing Multi-Discipline Projects At Drinking Water Facilities, In The Role As Prime Contractor, With A Value Over $2M, That May Include Reservoirs, Watermains, Valve Chambers, Process Mechanical, Cast-Inplace Concrete Foundations, Civil Work, Electrical Work, And Instrumentation Work • Experience With Awwa Standards Including Pressure Testing And Disinfection Processes For Watermains, Process Piping, And/Or Steel Tanks • Planning And Executing Complex Sequences Of Work On Water Systems, From Installation To Commissioning, In Such A Way To Avoid Interruptions And Outages In The Water System Throughout Construction The City’S Intent Is To Create A Shortlist Of Qualified Contractors And Subsequently Invite Only These Respondents To Submit Firm-Priced Tenders For The Work.
