Project Location Kauerndorf Municipality, Kulmbach District, Bavaria 3. Planned Construction Period Start: Expected At The End Of June 2026 Completion: Expected At The End Of December 2029 The Execution Will Take Place In Several Construction Phases With Coordinated Traffic Routing. 4. Aim Of The Measure The Measure Serves To Relieve The Local Area Of Kauerndorf From Through Traffic And To Improve Traffic Conditions Along The B289. The Construction Of A New Main Tunnel With Accompanying Rescue Tunnels As Well As Extensive Roads And Engineering Structures Will Create Efficient And Safe Traffic Routing. 5. Type And Scope Of The Services To Be Carried Out 5.1. Single-Tube Main Tunnel With Two-Way Traffic (Length Approx. 750 M), 626 M Of Which Is Of Mined Construction With A Vaulted Profile. Standard Cross Section Rq 11T, With Emergency Walkways On Both Sides And A Clear Height Of 4.50 M. Excavation Cross Section 105.60 M² Mining Construction: Excavator/Blasting With Conventional Shotcrete Construction. Vkl 6A.1, 6A.2, 7A.1,7A.2,7A.3 (With/Without Ksg). Open Construction Method: Sealing On Both Tunnel Portals Using A Plastic Sealing Membrane (Kdb) And A Water-Impermeable Concrete Structure (Wubko) 5.2. Two Technical And Rescue Tunnels (Length Approx. 240 M And 50 M) With Accessible Clearance Gauge 2.25 M × 2.25 M 5.3. Construction Of A Company Building With A Fire-Fighting Water Basin 5.4. Construction Of Two Emergency Basins For The Treatment Of Harmful Water 5.5. Construction Of A Total Of Seven Supporting Structures: Three Structures Are Located At The West Entrance Portal, One At The Rs2 Rescue Tunnel And The Three Largest At The East Exit Portal With Lengths Of Approx. 120 M, 185 M And 166 M. 5.6. Roads And Path Construction Including Ramps, Rescue Areas And Access Roads 5.7. Pipeline And Cable Civil Engineering, Tunnel Drainage, Fire-Fighting Water Systems 5.8. Earthworks, Embankment Protection, Drainage And Landscape Conservation Measures 5.9. Construction Site Equipment Including Water Treatment System, Traffic Safety And Safety Regulations 5.10. Demolition And Division Relocation Work 6. Special Requirements 6.1. Working In Confined Spaces (E.G. Portal Rs2) 6.2. Coordination With Subsequent Construction Lots (Underpass B289, Facade Of The Company Building, Bta) 6.3. Construction Process Under 3 Traffic Phases 6.4. Compliance With Environmental Regulations: Amphibian Protection, Hydrologically Sensitive Area (Weißmaintal Water Protection Area), Attention To Drinking Water Supply 6.5. Material Flow Management Including The Evidence To Be Submitted By The Bidder (See Section Additional Information 130,000 M³ Of Material Transport (Of Which 75,000 M³ Of Tunnel Demolition And 55,000 M³ Of Excavation) Is Transported To The Clients Staging Areas And, After Sampling, Allocated For Recycling, Reuse Or Disposal. Approximately 50,000 M³ Is Required For The Production Of Structures, Either From The Excavation/Excavation Or Of Delivery Material. Planning And Implementation According To The Bim Method.
