Esbjerg Municipalitys City Council Has Given An Advance Commitment To Annually Grant Approx. 14-15 Million Dkk For Replacement And Renovation Of Parts Of Esbjerg Municipalitys Lighting System. Against This Background, Esbjerg Municipality Offers The Replacement And Renovation Of Up To 4,000 Existing Lighting Installations, Including Street Light Masts, Mast Inserts And Fittings, As Well As The Establishment Of New Cables On The Sections Where Replacement Takes Place. This Only Applies To Lighting Installations Located In Esbjerg Municipality, Which Are Primarily Located On Public Roads And Paths, Private Shared Roads And Public Car Parks. The Tendered Contract Is Concluded For The Period 1 April 2026 To 31 March 2028 With The Possibility Of 2 X 24 Month Extensions. The Timing Of The Contract Period Is Determined According To The Preliminary Timetable For The Completion Of The Tender Process. Changes To This Schedule May Therefore Mean That The Time Of The Contracts Entry Into Force Is Changed Accordingly. If The Options To Extend The Contract Are Used, The Replacement And Renovation Will Then Have To Take Place Over The Next Six Years. Esbjerg Municipality Will Annually Determine The Scope Of The Replacement And Renovation In The Form Of Determining An Annual Project, Which Will Then Be Divided Into A Number Of Sub-Projects To Be Carried Out During The Year For Which The Annual Project Is Determined.
