Request for proposals for Consultancy to Conduct Non-Structural Construction Work Management Closing Date: 21 Nov 2026 Type: Consultancy Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is partnering with Global Affairs Canada to implement Kenya Blue Economy Skills Training (KBEST) Program. KBEST is a seven-year program (2022-2029) implemented in close collaboration with the Kenya Ministry of Education, primarily through the State Department of Vocational and Technical Trainings Directorate of TVET, the State Department for Blue Economy and Fisheries and the State Department for Shipping and Maritime Affairs. The main goal of KBEST is to have youth, especially young women, equipped with job- and business-ready skills to contribute to key economic sectors associated with the BE in Kenya. Colleges and Institutes Canada is planning to undertake infrastructure renovations works (non-structural works) in select partner TVET institutions within Lake and Coastal regions and invites proposals from qualified Construction Project Management Companies to support in this work. The work is expected to be carried out between December 2025 and December 2026 (actual work and schedule to be approved by CICan).The work entails: Overall Site Management Site appraisals and review of scope Drafting of Bill of Quantities BOQs) and drawings Tendering and Supplier evaluation. Supervise the direct construction projects from inception to completion Oversee project(s) testing commissioning and defects identification. Ensuring quality delivery, Safety and regulation compliance, effective subcontractor management, and timely project completion. Eligible bidders should meet the following minimum requirements: Must be a registered firm (attach registration certificate/Incorporation) Must have registered PIN and valid Tax Compliance Certificate Copy of current Trade License- current business license. Must possess registration in the category of Building works (NCA 4 or higher) As part of the tendering process, must visit two sites to prepare a detailed Technical and Financial proposal Interested bidders should send email to: [email protected] requesting for the full Request for Proposal, detailed specifications and Terms of Reference. .
