The City Of Maple Ridge Is Seeking To Pre-Qualify Prime Contractors For Constructionand Installation Of New Glass-Fused-To-Steel Bolted Steel Tanks At Existing Drinkingwater Reservoirs.Through This Request For Qualifications The City Wishes To Identify Contractorsexperienced And Qualified With:• Constructing And Managing Multi-Discipline Projects At Drinking Waterfacilities, In The Role As Prime Contractor, With A Value Over $2M, That Mayinclude Reservoirs, Watermains, Valve Chambers, Process Mechanical, Cast-Inplaceconcrete Foundations, Civil Work, Electrical Work, And Instrumentationwork• Experience With Awwa Standards Including Pressure Testing And Disinfectionprocesses For Watermains, Process Piping, And/Or Steel Tanks• Planning And Executing Complex Sequences Of Work On Water Systems, Frominstallation To Commissioning, In Such A Way To Avoid Interruptions Andoutages In The Water System Throughout Constructionthe City’S Intent Is To Create A Shortlist Of Qualified Contractors And Subsequentlyinvite Only These Respondents To Submit Firm-Priced Tenders For The Work.
