Tenders are invited for Community-Based Participatory Research Capacity Building Project, a New Initiative Designed to Empower Youth, NGOs, and communities with participatory research skills. Together, we will explore pressing issues that impact Lebanon today, using community-based and youth-led research approaches. Deadline: Friday, 14. Nov 2025 The YMCA of Lebanon is pleased to invite you to participate in the Community-Based Participatory Research Capacity Building Project, a new initiative designed to empower youth, NGOs, and communities with participatory research skills. Together, we will explore pressing issues that impact Lebanon today, using community-based and youth-led research approaches. This project includes five thematic research pathways, each addressing a critical dimension of community life. You are invited to register and join the pathway most relevant to your expertise, role, or interest. Participants will share their perspectives on the pathways they have chosen and will help develop practical recommendations related to the research topic. Sustainable Planet Research Target Group: Youth living in Lebanon, especially those engaged or interested in environmental issues. Purpose: To explore youth perspectives on sustainability, climate challenges, and opportunities for greener futures in Lebanon. Date: Monday, 10 November 2025 Time: from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm Registration: Please confirm your participation by completing the registration form by noon on the 6th of November. Volunteering in the 21st Century ResearchTarget Group: Youth volunteers, and non-volunteers, in addition to Youth coordinators, and youth-led organizations. Purpose: To identify challenges, motivations, and innovative approaches in youth volunteering, and provide recommendations for modernizing volunteering policies and practices. Dates: We are offering two options for your convenience: Date 1: Monday 17 November 2025 Date 2: Thursday 20 November 2025 Time: from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Registration: Please confirm your participation by completing the registration form by the 10th of November 2025. 3. Community Wellbeing Research Target Group: NGO employees, humanitarian frontliners, and staff working in conflict and crisis response. Purpose: To identify the needs, preferences, and interventions that can improve the well-being of humanitarian frontliners, ensuring their resilience and effectiveness. Date: Tuesday, 18 November 2025 Time: from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Registration: Please confirm your participation by completing the registration form by the 10th of November at noon. 4. AI and Peace Research Target Group: peacebuilding practitioners and technology professionals in Lebanon. Purpose: To critically examine Artificial Intelligences potential and risks in peacebuilding, and co-develop ethical frameworks for its application. Date: Wednesday 19 November 2025 Time: from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Registration: Please confirm your participation by completing the registration form before the 10th of November at noon. 5. Just World (Social Cohesion) Research Target Group: Youth in Lebanon from diverse backgrounds and communities. Purpose: To examine youth perspectives on inter-group trust, social cohesion, and opportunities to strengthen inclusive bonds.
