The Project Concerns The Renovation And Enhancement Of The Romanel-Sur-Lausanne Road Service Building, Located At Chemin De Lorio 29. Following Infiltration Problems Detected On The Roof, A Feasibility Study Concluded That It Would Be Appropriate To Raise The Building. This Extension, Designed As An Independent Exoskeleton-Type Wooden Structure, Will Accommodate New Social Premises And Storage Spaces. The Wooden Posts Will Be Fixed To The Existing Concrete Structure To Ensure The Absorption Of Additional Loads. The Project Also Includes A Complete Reconfiguration Of The Site: Creation Of New Access Points, Clear Distinction Between Road Activity Zones And Those Reserved For Third-Party Companies, Development Of Additional Parking Lots And Installation Of A Municipal Greenhouse. The Interior Spaces Will Be Redesigned To Meet Functional And Regulatory Requirements (In Particular Those Of The Aeai) With The Addition Of Offices, Workshops, Changing Rooms, Toilets, Relaxation Areas And Meeting Rooms. Finally, All Of The Facades And Roof Will Be Completely Renovated, Including Insulation And Partial Installation Of Photovoltaic Panels.
