With This Procurement Notice, Central Finlands Ely Center Launches A Tender To Acquire A Master Plan Drawer For The Project Valtatie 9 Improvement Between Kanavuori-Lievestuore, Master Plan, Jyväskylä And Laukaa. Highway 9 Is An Important Part Of The National And International East-West Transverse Connection. Highway 9 Belongs To The International Ten-T Comprehensive Network And Is Part Of The National Heavy Traffic Trunk Connection. The Goal Of The Project Is E.G. Improves Traffic Safety And Smoothness As Well As The Predictability Of Travel Time. The Smoothness And Safety Of Highway 9 Will Be Improved By Consolidating The Junctions Into New Interchanges, Improving The Geometry Of The Road Section And Building A Central Guardrail And Overtaking Lanes. Highway 9 Between Kanavuori And Lievestuore Is Hilly And Winding In Geometry And There Are Few Overtaking Opportunities.
