Tenders are invited for Supply of Materials Required for the Works Division (Earth. Metal, and Bricks, Cement, Wire Rods, Timber, Painting Work and Accessories and Hardware Items) Registration Fee (Rs.): 1500/-. Applications will be received from Suppliers willing to be registered for the Supply of undermentioned Goods and Services for the Year 2026 for the Hikkaduwa Urban Council. Separate self prepared applications for supplies, services and contracts mentioned in the schedule below could either be sent by registered post or personally delivered, to be received at or before 03.00 p.m. on 29.12.2025, addressed to the Chairman, Procurement Committee, Hikkaduwa Urban Council, Hikkaduwa. The cover containing the application should be marked "Registration of Suppliers - 2026 at the left side top corner. The Registration Fee, as stated against each Supply or Service, could either be paid by cheque drawn in favour of Chairman, Hikkaduwa Urban Council or may call over at this institution between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on working days and pay by cash. Conditions : 1) Urban Council retains the right to obtain Goods and Services required after calling for quotations from other sources in addition to the registered suppliers. 2) When submitting applications, copy of Business Registration Certificate / Company Registration Certificate and to register as a Contractor, photocopy of the CIDA Registration Certificate of the relevant contracting company or community based organization should be submitted with the application. 3) If the relevant Suppliers of the Goods and Services are registered for VAT with the Inland Revenue Department, a copy of such certificate should also be attached with the application.
