The Concession, Of The Public Service Delegation Type, Concerns The Maritime Freight Service Between The Port Of Halifax (Nova Scotia, Canada) And The Port Of Saint-Pierre (Saint-Pierre-Et-Miquelon, France), And The Port Installation (Ip) Of The Quai Du Commerce. The Main Missions Entrusted To The Concessionaire Are As Follows: Maritime Service On One Or More Ships To Be Provided By The Concessionaire, Whose Technical Characteristics And Operating Conditions Must Be Compatible With The Type Of Cargo, The Port Infrastructure Of The Ports Served (Halifax - Nova Scotia, Canada; Saint-Pierre - Saint-Pierre-Et-Miquelon, France; Occasionally Miquelon - Saint-Pierre-Et-Miquelon, France) And The Requests Of The Port Authorities: Operations Management Port And Administrative Operations In Saint-Pierre, Halifax And Occasionally In Miquelon, Loading And Unloading Of Ships, Maritime Transit On A Guaranteed Frequency Of One Halifax - Saint Pierre - Halifax Rotation Per Week. Minimum Frequency: One Stopover Per Week. Average Volume Transported: Between 15 And 40 Containers. Port Installation (Ip) Of The Commercial Quay: The Terminal Is Made Up Of Two Quays Of 95 M And 135 M Long, Each Equipped With Ro-Ro Ramps, A 13,000 M² Platform With 54 Reefers Sockets And A 1,280 M² Bonded Hangar. The Service Provider Must Ensure The Reception Of All Commercial Ships, In Conjunction With The Association Of Specialized Dock Workers Of The Port Of Saint-Pierre, Including The Provision Of The Goods, The Upkeep, Operation And Maintenance Of The Handling Equipment, As Well As The Management Of The Bonded Hangar. Eligible Vessels Are: Subject To Validation Of The Characteristics (In Particular Maneuvering And Displacement) By The Harbor Masters Office, Loa Max = 140 M / Bpp Max = Subject To Validation By The Harbor Masters Office / D Max = 6 M. The Main And Largely Majority User Of The Port To Date Is The Holder Of The Public Freight Service Concession. The Néoline Company Plans To Make 2 Stopovers From The End Of 2025 On A Saint-Nazaire – Baltimore – Halifax – Saint-Pierre Line In Both Directions. As A Port Handler (Commercial Port Of Saint-Pierre), The Concessionaire Must Ensure The Completion Of The Following Main Missions: • Unloading And Loading Of Ships; • Management Of Goods In The Port Area; • Management Of Routine Maintenance And Routine Repairs To Be Carried Out On The Installations Making Up The Container Terminal; • Management Of Pre-Post Road Transport Operations To Saint-Pierre Of Full Containers; • Management Of Administrative Procedures Related To The Operation And Management Of The Container Terminal.
