The Oulu City Library (Procurement Unit) Requests, On Behalf Of The Libraries Mentioned In The Appendix (Appendix 1) And The Oulu Museum And Science Center (Service User), Your Offer For The Transport Service Of The Library Materials Of The Northern Finnish Libraries And The Museums Touring Exhibitions In Accordance With This Request For Tenders And Its Attachments. Procurement Description, Transport Of Library Materials: Transport Quantities Are Approximately 100 Drops And Pick-Ups Per Week. Transport Volumes Vary Seasonally And Due To Library Closures. The Transports Are Mostly Directed To The Region Of North Ostrobothnia, But Also To Rovaniemi, Kajaani And Kuopio Every Week. One Drop Often Contains 1-6 Boxes (Size 60Cm * 40Cm *30Cm). Quantitatively, The Largest Pick-Ups And Drop-Offs Are Made Every Weekday At The Oulu City Librarys Rusko Unit, At Kiilletie 1. Outbound Loads Are At Kiilletie, And Depending On The Libraries Facilities, Elsewhere, It Is Possible To Pack The Drivers Trolleys Ready For Pick-Up. Every Weekday, The Load Leaving Kiilletie Is More Than 20-40 Boxes. On Kiilletie, Pick-Up And Drop-Off Can Take Place At The Same Time Or On Separate Visits During The Day. Libraries Have Their Own Transport Boxes (Integra 55L) With Address Information That Can Be Inserted Into The Address Card Slot. The Libraries Do Not Have Their Own Rolling Stock. It Is Possible To Use The Drivers Own Address Cards. Transport Between The Oulu City Library And The Storage Library (Kuopio) Is One-Way And This Route Uses Cardboard Boxes And, As Needed By The Service Provider, Address Cards, Address Stickers Or Other Means Of Expressing The Shipping Address. Libraries Have The Right To Cancel Or Not Order Transport, And There Are No Costs For Libraries For Transports Canceled By The Deadline. In The Libraries, Shipments Are Pre-Packaged In Boxes And Rolls With Address Information On The Agreed Driving Days And Times. If The Transport Takes Place When The Library Is Closed, The Service Provider Is Guaranteed Access To The Library Premises. The Service Provider Is Responsible For Loading The Load (Rollers / Material Boxes) Into The Car And Unpacking It From The Car. Procurement Description, Transport Of Oulu Museum And Science Centres Touring Exhibitions: Transport Volumes Are Around 150 Drop-Offs And Pick-Ups Per Year. One Drop Usually Contains One Box (Size 60Cm * 40Cm * 40Cm) Or One Wheeled Box (Size Approx. 90Cm * 110Cm * 50Cm). The Museum Has Its Own Shipping Boxes With Address Information. There Is No Regular Schedule For The Transportation Of Touring Exhibitions, Each Transportation Is Ordered Separately. Delivery Addresses Vary, But Are Located In The Region Of North Ostrobothnia And Kainuu, Often In Libraries, In Which Case The Drop Off Can Be Combined With The Transport Of Library Material. A Fixed Drop-Off Price Is Requested For Transports To The Region Of Northern Ostrobothnia And Kainuu. Occasionally, Exhibitions Are Also Transported To Other Parts Of Finland. The Price Of These Transports Sent Outside Of Kainuu And North Ostrobothnia Is Agreed With The Driver Separately On A Transport Order At A Time.
