Transport Services (Excl. Waste Transport) – Organization / Implementation Of The Repatriation Of Patients From Abroad - Worldwide. Once The Order Has Been Placed, The Contractor Is Obliged To Transport Sick Or Injured People Who Have Completed An Akv Level With Pbeakk (Insured Persons) Back To Germany From All Countries In The World. In Any Case, The Contractor Must Contact Pbeakk, The Treating Doctors, Hospitals, Transport Companies And Other Necessary Third Parties Immediately After The First Alert From The Insured Person Or Third Party. The Contractor Determines The Insurance And Medical Requirements For The Return Transport. The Contractor Ensures The Transport Medical Supply Chain Over The Shortest Possible Route To The Permanent Residence Of The Sick Person Or To The Nearest Hospital From There That Is Suitable For Further Adequate Care, With The Following Services: A) Organization Of Transport. B) Obtaining At Least Three Offers To Carry Out The Ambulance Flight With A Suitable Ambulance Aircraft. C) Arranging Seats On Regular Services (Possibly With A So-Called Stretcher = Reclining Facility Instead Of Passenger Seats) With/Without Medical Support If Necessary. D) Carrying Out The Return Transport By Ambulance, Train Or Other Means Of Public Transport With/Without Medical Support If Necessary (Ground Transport). E) Ensuring Medical Care For The Patient During Transport By Appropriate Specialist Personnel And, If Necessary, Providing The Ambulance Aircraft With Special Equipment That Goes Beyond The Standard Equipment. F) Support For Relatives In The Form Of Information And Constant Availability During The Organization And Implementation Of The Repatriation Of The Sick. During The Period 2022 To 2024, A Total Of 233 Alert Cases Were Processed. The Following Means Of Transport Were Used: In 2022: 12 Ambulance Flights 7 Scheduled Flights 25 Ground Transports 20 Alerts Did Not Result In Any Repatriation After Medical Clarification. In 2023: 8 Ambulance Flights 26 Scheduled Flights 31 Ground Transports 19 Alerts Did Not Result In Repatriation After Medical Clarification. In 2024: 4 Ambulance Flights 7 Scheduled Flights 25 Ground Transports 17 Alerts Did Not Result In Any Repatriation After Medical Clarification. The Quantities Stated Are Based On The Number Of Cases For The Specified Period; The Amount Depends On The Alarm And Is Subject To Unpredictable Fluctuations. Minimum Sales Or Order Numbers Cannot Therefore Be Guaranteed.
